About Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is an FBI division that serves as the national hub for reporting cybercrime. The IC3 receives reports regarding all cyber-enabled crimes and threats, including frauds, scams, intrusions, and viruses and malware. This covers business email compromise, ransomware, online extortion, identity theft, and investment scams, as well as emerging threats like cryptocurrency fraud and tech support scams.

The IC3 would like to remind you that millions of people are scammed every year, and anyone can become a victim of a cyber-enabled crime. If you suspect you are a victim of a cyber-enabled crime, do not be afraid or embarrassed to report it to the IC3 and your local law enforcement. Reporting cybercrimes can bring criminals to justice and may help us help others.

You can submit a report of an online scam via https://www.ic3.gov/
