Need help making a decision about a pregnancy? Reach out to a hotline in United States.

If you're pregnant and it was unplanned or you're uncertain about it, you're not alone. Many women will experience an unplanned or uncertain pregnancy in their lifetimes. There are 20 helplines in United States that you can call today to get advice and support. If you relate to any of the following, reach out for help:

  • Feeling anxious about how your body and health will be affected depending on your choice.
  • Feeling unsure about the options that are available to you.
  • Feeling both positive and negative emotions at the thought of going through with the pregnancy.
  • Feeling overwhelmed by all the options and having to make a decision.
  • Feeling low and depressed.
  • Feeling scared that your partner or your parents will reject you when they find out.
  • Concerned about raising the baby as a single mother.
  • Worried about how going through with the pregnancy will affect your future vision.

It's normal to feel many different, conflicting emotions as you figure out what to do next. It's just as normal to have made up your mind easily and to feel at peace with your choice. However you're feeling is valid.

Finding out you're pregnant when it wasn't planned or if you're having doubts about certain aspects can put you in a difficult position. If you're not ready to tell anyone about it, you may feel alone. However, helpine counselors and volunteers are available in United States to offer a listening ear and zero-judgment support, no matter where you are in your decision-making process.
