If you're in United States and you're struggling with anxious thoughts, experiencing a panic attack, or think you may have anxiety, there are people who can help. There are 30 helplines in United States that help with anxiety. Anxiety is common and you're not alone in what you're experiencing – no matter how confusing or overwhelming it may feel. Anxiety symptoms may present like any of the following:

  • Shutting off in situations where you feel threatened
  • Feeling like you're in danger
  • Scary thoughts that feel like they came out of nowhere
  • Restlessness, fidgeting, or can't seem to sit still
  • Trembling, sweating, or feeling clammy
  • Suddenly feeling hot or cold
  • Changes in appetite
  • Increased heart rate
